CoreCapital is proud to announce that we in partnership with Bagger-Sørensen have secured a strong acquisition in the growing wind industry.
Together we have successfully managed to acquire Grene Wind Industry Supplies (GWIS) which has been carved out from the Dutch Kramp group. CoreCapital, on behalf of BSE, has identified GWIS and led the acquisition process. CoreCapital will, together with the GWIS team and BSE, be involved in the implementation and execution of the strategy for GWIS.
GWIS is supplying more than 4,500 custom products and more than 100,000 standard components for wind turbine installation and service.
Besides reducing complexity in the supply-chain, GWIS is providing extra value through the development of kitted solutions, special tools, certification, calibration, design solutions etc.
With the new Danish owners, GWIS has the ambition to be a preferred global partner and a leading force in the consolidation of the sub-suppliers in the wind industry. Besides this GWIS will continue to develop tailor made solutions delivered at the right time in the right quality striving to exceed customer expectations.
Christian Hansen will continue as CEO in GWIS and Bagger-Sørensen who will be the majority shareholder will together with CoreCapital take a seat in the new board. We are looking forward to be joining forces with customers on the journey to create a greener tomorrow.
